Got a big group over today for the fight and some opening weekend football.

Smoking some rib tips and frying up some crappie for lunch today.

Tonight the ladies are handling the sides, while we cook wings, red rose & magnolia sausage, wild hot sausage stuffed with pepper jack, and hotdogs for the kids.

Lots of beer will be consumed. Feeling like it's a whatever's in the cooler day, but starting out with some Michelobs.

Lunch today. Chicken teriyaki topped with fresh grilled pineapple and served with stir fry veggies & rice noodles. The marinade for the chicken was pineapple juice, soy, ginger, and brown sugar. Simple fresh lunch

Stuck inside for Hurricane Harvey - used the instant pot this AM to make some chicken taco filling and prepped some rice and black beans. Given wind predictions can't risk elaborate cooking. Should be less a factor tomorrow. May dazzle all with enticing photos of Deviled Ham and possible grilled cheese sandwiches....(heavy sarcasm). Basically a major weather event makes you a food whore. I'm talking whatever works. Mexican TV tray diners, Vienna sausages, sardines and crackers.

I'm in my mancave watching CFB w/a white can and a gentleman jack I was gifted for helping a buddy move. He's a damn good Bulldog too b/c I didn't do near enough work for a gratuity. BYU is horrible. We'll blow them out. Cheers.

From what I have seen is we will be able to run some off tackle and also check downs should be easy completions. Also PSU's CB #9 looks decent. I think I heard he transferred from Oregon or Oregon St.
