Head coaches in the big 4 sports:

Mullen
Howland
Schaefer
Cannizaro

Is this the best group in our history? If not, then what is? And I'm talking the 4 head coaches collectively.

But that's only 3. You left out the women's basketball coach. Which would probably drag those three down some. Probably would have been Jerry Henderson from 89-95. He went 62-101. Schaefer beat Uconn.

Richard Williams took US to the final 4. Jackie took us to SEC championship. Polk took us to college World Series. I really like our collection of coaches now; Mullen to bcs and Schaefer to championship game are the only notable accomplishments so far though

Our potential as HC's in 2017 is higher now

Accomplishments for the 1998 crew at State were higher

Sherrill
Williams
Polk
Fanning

Still the gold standard- but may not be much longer
