We want our young men to be a part of the student body, so we'll have a short day tomorrow to let them take part in the campus activities this weekend."

Kind of refreshing to see this kind of stuff but I hope they're ready for a serious skull-dragging on Sept 2.

It would be nice if football teams were universally just-students in pads and the NFL had a minor league. College football would be cool like college baseball.

I think they run a spread option like us so our defense should be ready. I don't know if they are going to realize how fast Fitz is until they see him on the field.

This tells me the coach knows he's heading into a skull dragging. The emphasis is on helping the other students move in instead of practicing. He knows what's coming.

It'd be nice except for not being able to see so many games on TV.

I don't doubt we'll win, but it may resemble the Samford game from last year rather than an absolute beatdown. Charleston Southern was an FCS playoff team last year.

Seems like ever FCS team out side the swac we play are playoff teams. I like playing good FCS teams. It's good warm up. Makes our guys work and play hard. After that lost to S Alabama I kind of feel sorry for them. I don't think Mullen or the team are taking anything as a done deal. In hind sight that lost to S Alabama might be the best thing to every happen moving forwards.
