2 catches for 33 yds vs. cowboys. Also led Colts in receiving in 1st preseason game w/ 54 yds

Losing Fred Brown is the most underrated reason why we sucked last year. Transition to Sirmon's 3-4 & extended QB battle are obvious but losing a talented WR in an already small pond didn't get talked about near enough last year. Brown & Gray outside w/ Ross in the slot would've given us a lot more firepower.

This is why I love being an MSU alum and fan, it just means something special that no one can take from you. We are a family!!!

I liked Fred Brown. Hate he was dismissed from the team. Hope he tears it up.

We can all learn how to bounce back after something goes bad......Fred accepted the punishment for his mistake and holds no miss placed ill will! I have a buddy who saw Fred working out in Madison during the offseason and he loves Fred, said he was a great dawg....... Fred is a great guy and I hope he hits a t big......

If we had Brown and Bear doesn't leave early, we would've been really good at WR last year.

Losing Fred outta nowhere was shocking. I have always said that was a huge loss especially since Ross developed the drops last year and we had already lost Bear Wilson. Shoulda been Bear, Ross, Brown & Gray as our WR's last year.

Didn't Fred Brown participate in pro day at State even after leaving school? Thought there were several former dogs and a few former players from other smaller Mississippi schools at out pro day.

yep you right. Boobie D, Josh Robinson, Jay Hughes & Deontay Evans were the others there that weren't on last year's roster
