Can anyone tell me what Mann Act is? It's some federal law I believe.

It is the law that hands down criminal penalties for transporting across state lines for sexual purposes. It's what got that president of Mississippi College fired a few years ago.

Defense attorney doesn't fight a divorce case. This is about to go NASTY.

They like any other law firm handle a wide range of cases, while individual lawyers in a firm may not, they do have ones that do.

If I was H. Freeze, I would certainly have somebody with criminal law expertise on retainer, so that when they come to get me for Rico, Mann Act, et al, I had somebody to call when I tell the Law, I want a lawyer. If I was in his shoes I probably would be buddying up to a bails bondsman too.

2-3 years ago, Steve Robertson reported that Freeze and some assistants had retained a lawyer. It's been all popcorn and coke ever since.

At very least, you'd think there would be enough probable cause out there right now for someone in law enforcement to investigate this.

Damn, these 17ers were all in! They may have been more all in than any program in the history of the sport

He already has a lawyer for that, I can't remember his name, but he has been mentioned in the stories about the redaction of phone records.

The Mann act? Sheriff Buford T. Justice claimed that Bo "Bandit" Darville was wanted for the Mann Act.

Sherrif Bufford T. Justice explains the Mann Act in Smokey and The Bandit in a classic scene. Wish I could link it.

Agreed. I could see any recruit that was lined up with an escort getting at least a 500K+ settlement. So if any parents that had a child recruited by Pimp Freeze over the last 5+ years is reading this message board, please sue! This is the easiest opportunity you will have to be on your way to becoming a millionaire!

Yancy says it's so HF can sue Mullen, SteveR, and recruits who testified against him. Says HF is a private citizen now and can sue everyone.

Of course he ends these comments with "just my opinion."

In article in USA Today dated the 18th, they mentioned Freeze atty as W.G. Watkins.

Forman Watkins Klutz , Jackson, Ms His website say he is a wonderful lawyer, devoted father, grandfather and can be found relaxing at ole miss sporting events.

Since the Farese are so closely tied to ole miss and aways represent their interests, Freeze probably wanted and needed a little separation from them. Just my opinion.

Yeah, remember the preachers wife who shot sleeping hubby in the back, killing him, then fled with the kids to gulf shores pretending to be on vacation? Steve Farese got her off.

" Almost killed 20 law officers, running thru people's backyards, knocking down mailboxes, got a broad in the car and took her across state lines, That's a Mann Act, and I don't think he had a permission, and that's kidnapping!... How's that for high jinxs?
