I feel like Mars has all of the phone records and is really just playing with OM at this point. He is going through the motions to look as though he obtained them through the proper channels but I think OM realizes he already has them all and is just delaying the inevitable. I think a few weeks back when he announced that he had hired the counter-terrorism guy, OM knew it was over as far as the phone records but is hoping to have their meeting before they are released.
For the lawyers out there, what would be the legal ramifications of him obtaining the records some way other than OM releasing them to him?

he has the phone records but they are heavily redacted. That will be the next big court battle.

If Mars had the unredacted phone records, Steve would as well (they share information). Steve said today that the phone records were "heavily, heavily, redacted". I read somewhere else that somewhere around 2,000 calls were redacted.

I have no inside info but Mars just has the confidence of a man who already has what he is asking for.

I feel like he has the unredacted phone records.Yea, I don't think so. And if he did have them, I'm guessing that he (or someone on his behalf) would have had to break some laws to get them.

I agree. Perhaps the counter-terrorism guy has a legal way of getting them without going through OM.

He probably has unredacted records of HF or another coach's burner phone, but unlikely HF's school phone.

Pretty sure he has the info and is toying with them. Anyone know the laws pertaining to phone companies giving up call logs of phones paid for by government or state run institutions? Can someone go directly to carrier and say this is a public official paid for by tax payers? Those are technically public records held by a private company. Just a thought as I'm not knowledgeable in this field. If I were a sleazy snake like Bucky and the OM bunch I'd probably have studied up a bit more.

Hell we could just ask people under our last president for this info. Apparently anyone who wanted confidential info got it, including White House janitorial staffers.

IMO, Mars already had them, has found what he is looking for, and is currently going through the process of getting them legally released.

This is what I am thinking too. They just went straight to C-Spire and got the records cause C-Spire wants nothing to do with messing with Mars A-Team or perhaps they got them from the phone company in Arizona were the burner calls were going to and through a little backtracking they were able to get all the rest somehow.
