Packed full of fun in just the few minutes I heard...

1. Disassociated booster not only advertises during the show, the show is named after them.
2. It's apparently the first Rebel Yell show of the season, so the host (Roundsaville?) laments over losing Freeze and the events during the summer.
3. First caller mentions Auburn and Ohio State went undefeated while banned from a bowl, so why not Ole Miss?
4. LB was a weakness last year, but new LB coach says he has 8 players to fill 3 spots.
5. Hosts talk about how dangerous OM could be. "Each week teams won't want to face Ole Miss".

I don't see how the defense is better then last year but the offense could be pretty good. Luke's problem is going to be discipline and focus from day one. Also if the NCAA gives them a two year bowl band before the season is over most of those guys will be thinking transferring and not really giving a shit about ole miss win/lost.

Their defense is not going to be better. they graduated some NFL players and brought in a shitty recruiting class. On top of that, they were awful at linebacker last year and now they are moving to a system that features more linebackers.

They will be ok offensively but that offense has been way overblown. Some people need to go back and look at what that offense looked like after Kelly went down. They scored about 10 points against Vandy and 20 on us. They weren't that great on offense.

What the hell you expect them to say on there? "We gon' suck y'all" drop the mic and walk off? Although that would be funny as hell.

Yup

I'm not sure why more people aren't talking about this.

Remember when DeShea Townsend was our DC in the Orange Bowl and GT ran the same off tackle running play about 30 times in row?

When you don't have experience at the coordinator positions, adjustments are difficult to make and people run the same play 30 times in a row.

Sirmon not adjusting to the short side toss against Arkansas is a better example

They don't want to play them because by the time the NCAA gets done with them, this game might not count as a D-1 game towards bowl eligibility.

Great example.

The analysts keep comparing rosters and comparing OM to last year, but no one brings this up.

Who is the coach on that staff that is in charge of and has experience making in-game adjustments?

Last year they had two extremely experienced guys. Who now?

Who is the Xs and Os guru that can fix a game plan on the fly?

I know this, if you don't have one, your going to get your ass beat.

Their offense will be fine. They got some experience on that side, and also good players.

I think the offense will be fine, but, without Freeze, Engram, or Kelly's raw arm strength, I think it falls just below last year. I don t see their offense being better than last year.

The defense however could be FUBAR

Has anyone paid attention to OM's injury list?

About half the damn starters are out right now with concussions, spinal injuries, and some minor things.

I think they lose one of their first three and this thing sets up as a looooooooonnnnnnnggggg year
