I may have missed it. Do we expect Ole Miss to be punished by the conference after they are hit with NCAA sanctions? I know Steve hinted at them violating a bylaw by misleading recruits.

One can only hope. I believe that if King Saban pushing it, then Steve will pursue the additional punishment. It is always better to kick an opponent in the teeth when they are down, and cut the jugular.

I think the conference would frown upon trying to drag other conference members into the cluster of an NCAA mess that you have made. Once again wit his 3 programs on probation and the PR nightmare (especially if escorts for recruits comes out) that there will be some ADs thinking about kicking them out. It probably won't happen but they will think about it.

If anything it would be a financial penalty. Probably more giving up of their share of the bowl money all SEC schools split.

Only financial. Would be hypocritical to pile on, I would think, after Slive allowed so many to get away with murder for so many years. But, Greg Sankey hasn't done much of anything so far, he may want to make a name for himself.

Think about this, we have a least AD's on our side in this, Ninja, Sticklin and Cohen plus other schools that have been burned by the blatant cheating. If a majority vote is all that is needed this a fait accompli. Hopefully this involves refunding of the bowl revenues and forfeiture of multiple years of future revenues.
