Paul seems skeptical, well kinda. So Bucks "one phone call" is gonna be the talking point. #Deflecting

I thought PF took the wrong track. Bjork opened the door when he spoke of defending Freeze on "the way he ran compliance". With the latest from the NCAA, PF could have made Bjork either go pale or become red faced.

Maybe I was listening to a different interview, but I'm pretty sure he said once they were notified of the one call, they went back and looked at his records and discovered more calls "of a similar nature."

Paul actually grew a partial pair, pushing back on some of bdork's answers, I'm surprised.

After the interview, Paul said the truth will come out, probably sooner than later. Makes me believe he knows a lot more than he is letting on.

The last 2 minutes Paul actually threw a couple overhand lobs instead of the underhand and On a tee questions for 3/4 of the "interview".. ****ing joke..
Can y'all imagine if this was any coach or program outside the SEC??. And we wonder why other fans hate the SEC

ENFORCEMENT WRITTEN REPLY
Case No. 00561
July 21, 2017
Page No. 109 - 110

The violations occurred, and recurred, over five and a half years, including during
the investigation when attention to compliance should have been paramount. During this same time period,
the institution failed to take meaningful action as required by the Principles to correct the behavior in its
football program, which allowed additional violations to occur and illustrated a lack of institutional control.

Yes, that's exactly what he said. That's what established the pattern.

I have to admit that the thought that they just used the excuse of the one call to fire him because of the NCAA investigation, but then again they used the morals clause in his contract so they didn't have to pay him, so it'll come out someday.

I had it on the radio on drive home and was so astounded I nearly had to pull over. It was that painful to listen to. On a credibility scale of 0 to 100, bjork failed to register. Every word had such a stench of patent duplicity that it was truly mind-boggling territory. I'm not the biggest finebaum fan, but paul didn't sound to me like he was having any of it. This den of thieves has cast its lot with the devil, and bjork's performance should dispel any fence-sitter of all notion that the judgement day will be anything less than nuclear. This whole corrupt mess has got to be at or near second place to the university's all-time low point set by the murder and mayhem of the James Meredith days. Reasonable and decent folk within the UM system must galvanize an effort to salvage any semblance of a moral and ethical institution. If it was just the rogue football operation, I'd say **** it, but alas that's not the case. Vitter wholesale ineptitude has made it an institution-wide disaster of epic proportions.

Bjork still has not said that all of the calls (which he explains as a " pattern of poor behavior", we're entirely made up of calls made to escort services. He has had the opportunity to do so many times, yet he does not.

Freeze has yet to come out with any apology to OM fans and supporters. I find that strange.

And I refuse to believe that Freeze left almost 16 million on the table.

After the 11th I bet a lot of folks will be coming out of the closet.

I heard more than once the reason Freeze hasn't said anything was more will be exposed so need to just yet.

So this is the new narrative. It wasn't the institution. It was all Freeze, the biggest liar of them all. He deceived you, me, his wife and kids, and he deceived the institution. Bjork and Vitter were just taken in by a master of deception.

That's because it was handed to him under the table to be fall guy number 2. They already knew he was going to get a show cause so he was going to be gone anyway. Why not pay him off to be fall guy number 2 behind Barney? With everyone (media and lawyers) focused solely on Freeze and his 'personal' escort use, there was a possibility of the story going no further. I 100% believe it was a "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" moment and in this case, it's probably going to take Nutt's lawyer to look behind the curtain.

He unequivocally implied today that they were NOT escorts calls, but rather calls of a similar nature, blah blah. I think freeze is a perv and a sex addict, and got his fixes at Asian massage parlors....then rationalized it all away as therapeutic massages before returning to his various pulpits where he could preach his goodness and judge the length of teenage girls' skirts.

That falls too flat. Bjork is as bad if not worse bc he is digs a deeper hole in the cover-up every time he opens his mouth. These people clearly missed the entire watergate lesson: the coverup is far worse than the crime. It is a whirling eddy thatsucks everybody in as the downward momentum can only gain steam.

I think freeze is too megalomaniacal to play the fall guy so publicly. Otherwise, With his religiosity and sanctimonious public persona, he's cut off at the knees in a profoundly humiliating way. Then again, one would think that a person of deep and sincere faith would have been compelled to express genuine contrition. If the SOB took the $$ and ran, then he double-duped his worshippers.

Which is a crying shame. This ought to be reaching criminal investigation and big-time misappropriation of taxpayer money level whereby the legislature, AG, and State Auditor rattle their sabres. Let's not hold our collective breaths hoping and praying for some such action. The poorest state in the nation, a capital city with no tax base, failed and corrupt public schools, impassable roads, undrinkable water, raw sewage flowing in streets, as all the while the ole miss football amateur hour diverts tens of millions of dollars to further a doomed at launch hare-brained scheme to win a few football games and pretend to be a major player.
