looking at the forecast and it appears starkville will stay wet for (possibly) the next 10-12 days. I know we can't trust the weather channel, but what will that mean for the dude/hailstate road/russell street/hwy 12?? I'm sure they have some days built in for weather, but rain/drying time could push it back quite a bit.

Since Sunday afternoon my house juuuuust west of town has had over 7" of rain with another 2-4" possible by midweek. Then it's supposed to crank back up Sunday into early next week. If this keeps up the EPA will declare the whole area a federally protected wetland.

There are always weather days built in. Different stages of construction are affected more by rain. The current phase of DNF is probably the most vulnerable, with essentially the entire construction site being bare dirt. It's still early in project, so there's plenty of time to make up lost time.
