6.1 ip, 7 H, 0 ER, 6 K and got the win. Very nice debut for Brandon. Best MLB debut for a Brewer since 2004 according to MLB Network.

Why couldn't Butch get more out of him when he was here?

He was hurt most of his MSU career, he started 1 or 2 game-1s as the ace but could not endure

If he had been healthy as a Dawg, we probably win the 2013 National Championship

If I remember right, we basically lost him for 2 and a half seasons to TJ and the recovery process

Brandon also became the 8th member of the 2012 MSU team to make it to the show tying a SEC record!

I dont recall Brandon having TJ. He had to have a bone spur removed from his elbow that wasted a year.

I just can't bring myself to give a shit about Woodruff. He isn't a former MSU player so far as I'm concerned, considering he made zero impact and spent virtually his entire time at State in the training room. And on top of that, he was pissed at Cohen and had nothing good to say about him, even though Cohen probably saved his career. F that guy.

I hate that he didn't have a better college career, but he is a State guy through and through. Hopefully, he will reach his potential in the pros and be an ambassador for the program.

He started and won the SEC Tournament Championship Game. It's not his fault he was hurt when he was here.

He also had a hairline fracture in his arm which ended his junior year.

If it's normal to take a few years to recover from TJ surgery; that's not encouraging to me concerning the number of those we have in the first year of recovery.

Again, Woodruff didn't have TJ. He had two different injuries that hampered him throughout his time at MSU. Bone spur and arm fracture.
