Yeah, make it last and get all his phone records without any redacted info!

They'd be fools not to take a settlement at this point. But this is the same bunch that released 6 hours of phone calls before saying they were protected so they couldn't release the rest.

Anybody know anything?

Remember the Battle of Stirling in Braveheart, when William Wallace rides out and presents Scotland's terms for surrender? He tells them to lower their flags, go back to England and stop at every town along the way and beg forgiveness for all their atrocities or they will all die. The English start laughing and begin to tell Wallace how outmatched his army is, but Wallace cuts him off and says, "I'm not finished! Before we let you leave, your commander must cross that field, present himself before this army, put his head between his legs and kiss his own arse!"

Based on the way that Tom Mars has approached every aspect of this case, I would like to think that his his idea of a reasonable settlement offer closely resembles William Wallace's idea of reasonable terms for surrender.

According to Wolken, Bjork didn't sound like he was in the settling mood today during a radio interview.

Wolken tweeted:
Meanwhile Bjork categorically denies the allegations in the Nutt lawsuit, says Ole Miss was honest in what it released to media. Interesting

It doesn't matter if they settle or not. You can't put the shit back into the horse. Those phone records are a national story with national writers digging. It will be the gift that keeps giving.

Mars called OM lawyer after the Freeze "resignation" and said let's talk settlement. OM said nope, we will take our chances in court.
Apoplectic Mars said ok then, I'll need all phone records for the last five years, including assistant coaches.

People claim Robertson is obsessed but word is this Mars guy is astounded at OM's behavior in all this and badly wants to stick it to them, which is why he is adding these heavy hitter investigators and FOIA experts to his team.

Wow! Mullen really does bring in the heavy hitters. I didn't quite know what to think when Mullen aligned himself with a former OM coach but I've got to say that he is one helluva strategist to put all this together.
