Sometimes success depends on timing and luck. If we have Omar Connor or Tyler Russell we probably win the SEC in 98 and maybe the Natty with Dak in 98. I am a big Wayne Madkin fan too so it's not really meant to be a slight at him.

Shirt is also missing Pegues and Omar Connor. Who was the other MSU DB that played with Pegues that played for the Jets for a couple games after they called him 6 months into the season? That was a cool story when he got to play for the final couple games of the season. Sorry his name is escaping me right now.

Yea that's it the original Fitz!! I love that story but I had it wrong. He TURNED DOWN playing for the Jets so he could keep his railroad job that his family depended on. Man that dude is my HERO!! He deserves to be on the shirt just for this story alone.
