Not to distract everyone from the worst game ever played at DWS, but read the breakdown on the #1 game. Texas Tech vs. Centenary in 1939.

I had never even heard of that game, but the details are hilarious.

Maybe from an offensive standpoint but from a defensive standpoint they never gave up a busted play. Do you realize how hard that is?

That 0-0 TT Cenetary game must have been awesome. No idea why it was the ugliest game ever.

Well....Don't forget our game with Houston in 1969. Lost 74-0. Houston got something like 600+ yards rushing. I remember Jack saying in the first or second quarter "better break out the record book". It was awful to listen to.

Anybody notice the score in the upper right hand corner of the Shreveport Times? Miss State 15 LSU 12. Coach McKeen doing his work. What if he had stayed at State for 20 plus years would things be different today?

It was a bad game but the 1980 Bama game was a 6 to 3 game. Not much difference other then we beat the number one team. I wonder if we had made one of our field goals would we feel good about the Auburn game?

Not much difference in the score, but the competition and level of play in those games were at opposite ends of the spectrum. No doubt if we had beaten Auburn we would have taken it, but that was one of the ugliest games I've ever seen. I was in Jackson in 1980, that was a great game. I still get pumped thinking about that game.

I hate the sports media worse than the news media.
