Lots of piecemeal speculating but intriguing nonetheless.

Yeah, I was thinking the same ... it wasn't a very well written article. And I don't think I read a thing there that hasn't been said by one or more "posters in the know" here. Kinda like his sources are MSU forums.

42 evaluation days during fall
evaluation period.
168 evaluation days during
spring evaluation period.
~Limit of three (3) evaluations
during academic year:
• One evaluation during fall;
• Two evaluations - April 15
through May 31 (one
evaluation to assess athletics
ability and one evaluation to
assess academic
qualifications).
~Not more than six (6) offcampus
contacts per PSA at any
site.
~ During spring evaluation
period (April 15 through May
31), FBS head coach or head
coach-in-waiting may not:
• engage in off-campus
recruiting,
• participate in off-campus
coaching clinics,
• visit a PSA's educational
institution, or;
• meet with a PSA's coach at an
off-campus location.
~Practice/competition site
restrictions.

After reading the attachment above I have several questions:
1. Why would a sophomore have a recruiters phone number?
2. Why would a recruiter have contacted this PSA?
3. Telephones calls to recruits during Winter Exam Weeks and the student is 45 minutes late for his exams.... What gives?
4. 6 off-campus visits per site: Dang how about 15+ to one site?
5. Are recruiters cars "labeled" with the schools name?
6. Has anyone asked for the travel logs of ML and BF?
7. Crootapalooza is this party weekend not against NCAA policies?
8. Why would a recruiter keep making trips to the Same school to "make sure the PSA gets the GRADES".

Pay attention Ole Miss......this is how a Journalism school really works......

I'd say that's a pretty damning article.....speculation that will eventually come true....

Add that write up to this write up and then ask yourself why Godfrey feels the need to carry Ole Miss's water for them right now. In my personal opinion, he's actively covering for Ole Miss despite knowing exactly how they operate.

Here is part 2 of that story.

Here is part 2 of that story.

He is right. The phone calls reveal someone knew about SOMETHING that they lied about to the NCAA. What that something is likely won't make a difference. The NCAA would go harder than they already are and that means the ultimate punishment.

They are effectively now appealing for a stay of execution.

If the NCAA requested phone records and actually examined them, they had to have been redacted to the extent that they, (the NCAA), were deceived in a major way.
OM has stalled in every way imaginable. At every turn they've resisted full disclosure. There's a damn good reason, and any speculation leads one to believe they've done something that may even eclipse hiring prostitutes for recruits and players.

At this point, even if reluctant, I can't see the NCAA turning their heads and not going back in. Grasping these phone records is a clear giveaway.
