Long story short, Brandon lasted a year too long and Mullen got hot and snatched up by MSU. That didn't stop those 2 from having a respectful relationship that dates back over a decade. Christopher isn't bringing in Leo Lewis to blow up the NCAA's case. He's bringing him in to justify the hammer he's about to drop for his old buddy Dan Mullen.
