We may have extended a day late, dollar short courtesy offer, but all indications are that we aren't making him a priority on our OL board. So, I don't really blame him for committing somewhere else that also happens to be a Top 10 program.

I LOVE that we are dominating the state of Mississippi. It will be more of the same in 2019. Elite 11 4-5 star QB and then the best in Mississippi. I can live with that.

I do agree with you though that we aren't heavily pursuing him now, &, by looking at the picture, he's a little on the light side. I mean, compare Smith's size to our LB commit Jett Johnson

It was late because it was after LSU offered him and after we offered numerous other prospects on our board. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but you can't blame him or call him a traitor for going where he feels he is wanted. It's on us if he's not a dawg, so get with Hev and DJ on that one and call them the traitors if you think we are missing on a big time prospect.

Hey boys lay off Cole Smith, (and lay off all high school kids, I mean how grown-up are you?). Recruiting doesn't end till the 2 signing dates. Let's be adults and support all these kids to do what is best for their personal situation. Let's hope we get the best players and the guys we lose on made the right decision.
