They don't understand that the open defiance up until yesterday won't be forgotten.

What do you mean getting?

"We aren't getting a two year bowl ban."

I don't think they'll get a two-year bowl ban either. It will be three at least.

Or that an attorney forcing the issue, and not the school monitoring the problem is still a problem.

How could all of this have happened and they think it's not going to affect them?

I fear they will be much lighter too. They will still be very very very crippling and more than Ole Miss expects, but a lot less than they would have been had he stayed.

Of course you do- you didn't think they were getting an NOA either

Freeze being fired doesn't change the crimes. It's still going to be 2 years or more and 30+ schollys

So the defense is "We cheat. Profit from it. Fire the no good scoundrel coach and act shocked. Then the NCAA takes 9 over 3?"

I do not think they grasp this process or reality.

Delayed obedience is still disobedience.

Exactlty, they had to know what Bucktooth was doing. The phone records were available for the administration to see. There's no doubt that far more calls were made than the one found. As others have said this was one that was not caught by the Administrartion.

And yet Bdork said it wasn't just one call that caused Bucky to be fired but a pattern. So the administration just happened to miss every time he called a hooker? That takes a gigantic leap in logic to accept.

Not only that, but the firing had 0 to do with the NCAA investigation or them being accountable, and the NCAA knows that. They're not going to say, 'Well, your defense is based on the morals of your HC, who you just fired for personal misconduct. Great, that wraps things up nicely!'

This hurts OM's defense, it does not help them in any way. Not only did they not fire Freeze because of what he did in regard to the NCAA investigation, they also just lost most of their defense to the allegations. It is a double whammy. Their defense now has been whittled down to, 'The coach we just fired for violating the moral cause in his contract would not do these immoral things you have alleged.'

And trying to say Freeze did it all himself leads directly to LOIC. Bdork and Vitters are in charge of making sure their head coach is doing what he is supposed to be doing. If he wasn't then that proves the Institution did not have control of the program. Firing Freeze pretty much proved their defense is shit.

I never remember saying they wouldn't get an NOA. But whatever. I think they get 2 and 30+ still, but it would have been even worse had Hugh stayed.

Yeah but that's pure speculation. They're ****ed either way. It'll be closer to 60 scholarships than 30.
