It's entirely possible that there's some scandalous recruiting stuff that went on that the NCAA hasn't found - that a legal inquiry would. In fact, if this civil case proceeds, I suspect there will be a lot more uncovered surrounding Freeze and Ole Miss. My understanding is they've done that. They were giving ole miss time to respond. Instead of responding to the story, Freeze just resigned immediately. I imagine the reporters might be giving them time to get their official statement together before expanding the story. Possibly giving Freeze a chance to talk to his family. More will come soon.
