His grandfather was murdered last night and his grandmother is in ICU. Horrible situation. Great family and good friends.

A quick Google shows that he is from Cullman, Alabama. There's been a story on the news here that a "prominent attorney" in Cullman was killed around 5 yesterday afternoon in a home invasion. Apparently the invader shot and killed him, and someone else in the house shot and killed the criminal. I've heard nothing about the man's wife being shot though.

Is this the same case?

It is press conference as I type. I was hesitant to say much up to this point. Man with mental illness entered the home and murdered him and attempted to murder her, but she fought back and killed him. Sad for Owen.

Latest bulletin I received said that the mentally ill guy though the grandfather was involved in a drug case, but was mistaken.

Most Heavenly Father, we ask that you The Great Physician grant healing powers to the doctors caring for this lady. we further pray Lord that you hold this family close and bless them with the comfort and strength that only You can give.
