Said no one has told him to be quiet. If you're a good person and not involved in improprieties, you don't have to go around telling everyone about it. Also Said "Some people had advance notice of the Leo and Kobe lawsuit coming out, so let me repay that. I know some people too. Some people in Lafayette county may find themselves on the other end of legal proceedings. Some people may want to update their resumes. The ones who have been wrong every step of way, the cowards, may find themselves in it. There is stuff that has been discovered that hasn't come out yet. When it does, gonna be bad for people that are think they're important ole miss people."

They need research the idea and application of "sunk cost"

Whoever at Ole Miss gave them those names is the one who should be worried, VERY worried. That isn't a civil suite thing, it's federal criminal law. It also carries some extremely adverse consequences for the university. If FERPA applies somebody is in big trouble.

It at least sounded to me like Freeze is involved. The reference of the 2013 Freeze tweet language about "not disparaging these young men or their families". I'm just guessing, obviously, and may be reading too much into what Steve said. Looking forward to finding out.

FERPA applies only to educational records. As I understand the law, I do not think it prohibits the release of a student's name in relation to something not specifically connected to their educational record.

So, the question becomes...is any testimony provided to the NCAA investigative branch as it relates to potential recruiting violations considered part of that student's "educational record"? If yes, then they are in potentially big legal trouble. If not, then they may not be in legal trouble, but have still most likely pissed off the NCAA even more.

Completely agree. I was thinking there may be penalties for who told the masses (Yancy, Chuck types) also, not just for whoever told them individually. I think both may be a no-no but Im not an expert by any means.

Education is a lot more than academic, ESPECIALLY when it applies to athletes. Athletics opens up so many more possibilities for FERPA violations it's crazy.

Need to use stainless steel or some other hard metal as opposed to something soft like aluminum. I once had trouble with squirrels in my attic and used some sheet aluminum to cover the hole. The squirrels chewed right through it. Changed to stainless and they couldn't get past that. And a beaver has a much stronger bite and teeth than a squirrel, so they'd really need to protect those trees with some good stuff. ;)

Riverview casino (the old Isle of Capri) has a cool owl robot under the porte cache, his head turns from side to side pretty quick and it makes owl sound and does this on an irregular basis, I am sure this owl was expensive. Unfortunately the birds have gotten used to it, I saw a crow the other day trying to fornicate it.

To hear Bama fans tell it, they don’t have to cheat. However they have been caught before, although not recently. No they’ve become very adept at avoiding the wrath of the NCAA. (copied)

I hung a plastic owl in a tree in the front yard. Killed two turtle doves and three small birds the first week. I guess they were cruising in and veered off to dodge the owl and went head first into the house. Sure helped keep the birds from roosting in the tree and having shitbird crap all over the sidewalk.

However, a so-called journalist can?t be the only one to blame in this charade where MSU players lied to investigators while under immunity. Hey Skippy, I always get a kick outta you delusional tools constantly grasping at straws in a desperate attempt to claim superiority...a thing you simply do not have.

Over the years we have owned you in virtually every sport all-time except football. And the truly hilarious thing is...in football, you dipshits need to go all the way back to John Vaught to claim any small advantage there. On-the-field (we both know the forfeits were BS), we are a mere 15 games behind you out of the 113 games we've played, and that includes the game your ref, Dick Pace stole from us.

Here's where it gets even more laughable. Over the past quarter century, we actually hold the advantage in football. That's right. And over the past 10, we hold that advantage as well. And Skippy-boy, care to guess how many times y'all have finished below us in the SEC standings the past 7 years? That would be SIX TIMES, Skippy! Please do tell us again how "jealous we are of you".

Now we do have to admit it will probably take us a little bit longer to get the overall record in football to add to all the other sports, but it will happen in our lifetimes for sure (assuming you're not over 80). With the impending extra-large stick the NCAA is about to break off in your ass, that day will be coming quite a bit sooner...perhaps within 15-20 years. Of course, you and I both know when it gets to around 59-54-6 on the field (63-2 forfeits - 2 vacated wins = 59 and 44 + 2 forfeits + 8-in-a-row = 54), you won't dare show your face to talk smack because we'll point to the record of the past 8 years, where if you'll have won a game against us, it'll have been a major upset.

You see Dan Skippy, while your all-time football advantage does mean a little, it has meant less and less with every passing year, then decade, then quarter-century, etc. You see, everybody cares a lot more about the more recent history than the distant past. Even you, Danny-boy..though you are clearly not honest enough to admit it. You care a lot more about these last several years than the last half-century, and you will care a lot more about the next 10 than you will about the past 50.

That's your reality, Dan "Damn Skippy" Skipper. We'd like to take this time to thank you for the continued posts you make...not only for the chuckles they provide, but for all the fun we're going to have recalling them a few years from now when you are completely irrelevant, watching us own your ass for years and years to come.
