All that means is that if we can go 2-1 or 3-0 again we will be sitting pretty in the polls. Thanks to Chris Low for showing us some love.

I really don't think it is as tough as everyone thinks it will be. I feel we could go 2-1 in those three. I don't believe we get swept.

strongly disagree

LSU is loaded with talent and coached well by their coordinators
Georgia will have a top 10 in the country D
Auburn may win the SEC

If all three of those teams ended in the top 15 no one would be surprised. I believe we can win them all if our defense evolves with the new talent and coaches and the offense doesn't regress.

Our D should certainly keep us in them

We beat LSU and lose the other 2. I'd take it

I think we beat LSU and Georgia but lose to Auburn. Neither Smart or Ed O scare me as head coaches. Auburn to me is the toughest game in that stretch and also the last one.

Based on what?

Orgeron took over and LSU improved last year
Smart took over a young team that won 4 of its last 5

I think we snag one for sure. I would feel much better about getting two if uga or auburn weren't on the road. That will be tough regardless of the team they field this year. I am still not sold on georgia but that will be a tough tough three game stretch. If we can get one I'll be satisfied, win 2 and we may make some noise this year. Our defense is going to have to improve dramatically.

Georgia did not impress me one bit last year and I don't see what they did to improve and I don't think Mullen is going to get out coached in any of the three. I don't want to hear about Georgia's record. They played in the East and as bad as we were are SEC record would have been better if we had played in the East.

Hell, yes... 3-0 would likely have you cats at MINIMUM top 15... likely knocking on top 10 and in solid contention for both the SEWC, SECC, and CFP...

That being said, if y'all clip LSU at home, I'd call it all a "win".... @UGA & @AU back to back after playing LSU is going to be near impossible to sweep....

Damn this sure reminds me of 2014, and looked what happened. Finger crossing time.

Until Dan says "nobody knows whats about to take that field right now", I'm not buying that we're like 2014. There was a big difference in O-Line play from that team vs. this one.

Smart coached one of the SEC's youngest teams and returns the most starters in the SEC in 2017. 9 times out 10- the team returning the most starters improves their record by a couple of wins.

This year's schedule is much tougher than in 2014

We did not know that going in. Hell it was one of the toughest in the country at the time. This season might be the same you never know. Hind sight 2014 did look pretty easy. Smart has not show me he can be a head coach yet and Coach O, the last time he was the full time coach sucked. Last year and at USC he had no pressure on him. Pressure make men do stupid stuff. We will see.

We did not know that going in. .

Actually we did

We knew it was an LSU team that was better to play early (much like this year's LSU team)
We had Vandy and Kentucky from the East
UPig was down
Swing games were at home- Auburn, A&M, UPig
We knew an OOC of UT-Martin. UAB, USA, and Southern Miss was cake
OL had 4 starters returning with double digits starts under their belt

2017's is much different:

Kentucky and Georgia from the East is much tougher. Kentucky is expected to bowl and maybe win 8. Georgia is expected to play for the East title
OOC has two bowl teams in La Tech and BYU
Swing games are on the road- Auburn, A&M, and UPig
OL being shuffled

Don't give a shit until he proves it he is shit.

He's proven to be a good defensive coach- and with Georgia returning 11 starters on D- you can damn well bet they will be tough as hell in 2017.

That's a good point Jack... LSU, A&M, & AU all ended up being way overrated in '14... It's possible it happens again.

We are better than La Tech, BYU and UK. I know we struggle on the road vs UPig but they dont scare me. We arent beating A&M or Auburn on the road
