think it was Les. When they started getting push and bringing the heat right up the middle we never once tried to get to the corner, never once did we roll Dak outta the pocket and never once did we try the screen pass. WTF? The screen was there.

Salty,
You have to have a coach that cares. Dan doesn't.

His check will clear next Friday.

Doesn't matter who was calling. It falls on Mullen.

Since it's this big black ops deal as to who really is calling plays, Mullen can use Koenning as his scapegoat to save his own ass if it comes to firing someone. And it's most likely why Les won't be fired mid season, because then the playcalling responsibility falls squarely on Mullen. So if we still suck after we fire Koenning, ala Mack Brown/Manny Diaz, everything falls on Mullen and he has no excuses left.

I think a lot of Mullen is in the offense now and although it's better under Dak, it's still not where it needs to be. Conservative end game playcalling, not utilizing the positions we have advantages in, dumb calls like going for 2 with 4 minutes left in the 1st quarter. A lot of that should fall on Mullen, but it hasn't all fallen yet because Les is still here and he can be used as the scapegoat.

Everything goes through Mullen. Mullen is responsible for the play calling even if it is Les calling plays.
