Not really. They expected to beat OSU & win the CWS....that's why their Juniors all came back. We were hoping we could win, but didn't expect to be there. Not remotely the same actually

Here's my thing- it's easy to play "well at the right time" when all you have to do is beat the SWAC champ and two directional Louisiana schools and then a SEC team with a severely depleted pitching staff.

The NCAA is considering seeding teams 1-16 so at least maybe it won't be a total cakewalk for them in the future.

If Walker is down, that's the killer to me. And if they knew he was having issues, why chance it even if he looked good in the bullpen? Despite my post above I bet OSU pitches their three against them if they make it through.
