It could've been a lot of people but the arrogance of the bag man in that interview still makes me think it's OM.

I can't imagine Godfrey having that kind of access to a bag man that's not for OM. Or Vanderbilt, but you know that's not Vandy.

From the interview with the author at the bottom of the page, it sounds like "the bagman" in this article is a composite drawn from interviews with multiple people from multiple schools.
