I bet the conference is none too happy with what is going on in Oxford with the university or its boosters. I know they have no say over boosters, but they sure as hell have control over OM if they want to stay in the SEC. They got themselves in this shape by cheating their asses off. Now they are caught and trying everyway they can to deflect. I think OM is stupid for not putting a stop to threatening college players because they cheated and it failed, plus they lost them to their in state rival.

Interesting ... them, us, or one of at least 9 other institutions ... If we are #10 then it's almost the whole conference.... And maybe even Nebraska.

The league has about as much control over the UM boosters as UM does. Freeze said he developed a plan for recruiting and everyone was following it. The thing he left out was that the boosters are right up in the middle of that plan too!

Who says the other nine are in the SEC. I would be willing to bet that UGA, UF and Bama are 3 of the 9, that still leaves 6 out of conference schools to complain. How about Ohio State, Michigan and Nebraska. Who are the other 3?

Didn't they also flip an FSU commit or someone FSU thought they had locked up?

FSU was Gohlson - who later transferred to AU

There was also a TE that was committed to fsu. I think the kid was from Texas. They had so much fun pulling that merry flipmas shit on us, they decided to branch out and start pulling it on the big name schools. Big mistake.

They probably don't want to see Austin Gohlson name pop up ... he could be the death blow for them

Even Utah had a disputed player. Kid had a letter of intent sent to both schools

The SEC could wipe OM off the map if they wanted to. OM is pissing in the wind and laughing. They are playing a very dangerous game. There are more than one reason why the SEC might be willing or wanting to jettison OM from the conference.

OM needs the SEC. The SEC doesn't need OM. So keep it up OM. Let's see how this works out for you.

What about those SA that came from Washington????

What about those SA(s) that OM recruited because the SA's former schools kicked off their teams?

MSU, UGA, UF, BAMA, LSU(?) Ohio State, Michigan, Nebraska, AU (?), FS(?)

Out of the SEC is better than the Death Penalty. It's the end of the world for Ole Miss. PLEASE LET THIS HAPPEN!

I'm pretty sure AU didn't drop a dime on them. That's like two, seasoned prostitues arguing about each other's virtue.

You can damn well bet that Bo Pelini & Nebraska have been contacted by the NCAA.

There are a bunch of coaches that want to fist fight Hugh Freeze and punch him in his aww shucks mouth. I would pay for the PPV to see them in a battle royal with Hugh Freeze.

Gundy's quote re: "not a level playing field" vs OM in 2016 always amused me.... I wonder what he would have said if he had one of the two best teams in 2011??
