They have a large journalism school. Even if it isn't their grads going out and defending them, it is friends of their grads who think there is no way that the school that their friend went to could be so heinous in their violations.

Your right, The journalism industry is a very tight knit family. They will protect each other a lot. Of course you have some that are different and do things the right way, but true news reporting is dying or already extinct. Journalism has become more opinionated instead of news reporting.
