That play should have at least been replayed and is supposed to be replayed but the umps decided against it. That sucks for Davidson.

Welcome to college baseball. I watch a ton of MLB and it's comical how bad college umpiring is

That should be reviewable but if you drop a ball like that on a play where you are out of control anyway you are not likely to get the call because the ump has no way to really see if you truly had control of it before it came out. Just amazes me that guys can play a sport for years and years yet still can't execute fundamental communication on the infield to catch a pop up in a critical situation.
