Unless I'm reading the NOA wrong, it looks like they redacted all the booster names. Am I missing something? What's the next step to out these punk asses?

Thanks RP. Didn't they tell the committee that they'd release the names with the NOA? So they just lied to the committee during the last meeting?

No they didn't lie. It was the Motion by "John Doe" booster that threw a wrench in that. The Ethics Commission is allowing him to present a written statement to determine if they will allow him to argue that his name should be redacted for privacy issues.

fyi....the IHL board is royally pissed that their name has been brought into the situation....they think it is a smoke screen for the motion to be filed in hinds county to keep boosters name a secret.....in other words, no reason to have IHL board involved.....so John Doe is likely not a jackson area guy....at least that is what they think....you have to be appointed by the governor to be on the IHL board.....that and the fact UM is stalling after being denied is really pointing a middle finger at the state of ms ......they apparently want "more clarity and understanding" under the privacy rules they were denied.

This is a response, not the actual NOA, so we'll have to wait for that to be publicized to see names.

Two of the guys are Jackson area guys, but there's over a dozen boosters referenced in the case.

2017, includes LOIC. I don't have time to cross-reference it against the original, but it's very heavily expanded.

If the Ethics Commission denies "John Doe" booster because his written response in not sufficient for his Motion to Intervene (which is due any day now), then the names would have to be released in the NOA pretty soon. However, I do suspect that they allow him to argue his motion and then rule later. If they reject his motion at that time then we should get the NOA without the boosters redacted names about a month from now or so.

Here are the boosters I put together in the other thread:

As part of his ministry, including his work with several faith-based schools, [Booster 1] routinely arranged free housing with host families for at-risk students seeking educational opportunities. Several of these out-of-area students (including athletes and non-athletes) were allowed to stay at [Booster 1’s] home.

Booster 2 is the driver, a "huddle leader" with FCA at the prospects school, and also attended an in-home with Freeze.
On December 3, 2012, [Booster 2] attended an in-home recruiting visit by M. Harris and Freeze that occurred at [Student-Athlete 5's] residence. Additionally, [Booster 2] notified M. I'm not sure it was the administration as much as it was the staff and boosters themselves. I suspect there is at least a few names that connect them with staff members that weakens their individual stance. Especially Freeze and Farrar.

Random is correct, the Ethics committee order gave Mississippi till 6/26 or 6/29 to comply. They meet again on 7/7 and Mississippi better have it done by then. Rosebowl said on Boneyard yesterday, he asked, what if they tried another delay and was told by the EC that another delay would not be allowed.

I bet ole Barney is really pissed, and understand he saw the NOA a long time ago because he's named in it. I bet he is "telling it on the mountain". I bet he has a lot of paperwork from his job that the NCAA would be real interested in. Now I know he was fired before the 2017 'amended' NOA was given to Mississippi, but not by much. The tell in this poker hand is his lawyer going public. What do Barneys say "Nip it in the Bud".
