God bless ya, son....you've got all the lawyers riled up. You would think there was no other student athlete involved in this since he's the only one the seem to attack. Yet, I'm assuming there are at least 38 others. Wonder why they are focusing on just 39???

....not their real rivals.... riiiiiiiiight.

I am going to make a CRAZY motion. We change our use of "17" to "39". Because Ole Miss is about to get 39'd.

I thought the NCAA may workup a #6 on them, but I never imagined a #39!

We should start a campaign to get Leo to change his jersey number to 39

And instead of his name on his Egg Bowl jersey it should read "Liar" above the number "39". I will contribute to the fund to purchase his jersey. That would make for one of the most memorable Egg Bowls ever, especially after we kick their ass!!

I think everyone should wear a 39 jersey to the eggbowl this year. Give the entire student section shirts to wear.

Leo has quickly became my favorite dawg ever.

Apparently Leo admittedly took money from OM boosters ... which would ordinarily mean that he would be ineligible to play anywhere. But the NCAA granted him immunity so he is still eligible. Is that the case?

That is the case. MSU may suspend him for a couple of games as a matter of good faith for the NCAA. But maybe not.

Probably should, just as another stab at OM if nothing else. :)

what is AMAZING - and should be terrifying to all the OM fans - is that there are 38 other student athletes named in this NOA - 38 !!!!!!

Why in the unholy 17 would they do that? He's not accused of receiving money from us. He was given immunity with no threat of reprisal for coming clean by the NCAA. Not even Bracky would suspend someone under these circumstances.

isn't 17 another boards thing? We can just start using 39.

Took me a second but for those that aren't getting this, Chucky Mullins wore #38, he's the defensive player that got paralyzed from a hit/tackle on the field at UM in 1989.

I just glanced through the Response and the total is at least 50. It's on about Page 35 where they're discussing getting items of clothing (presumably from the Rebel Rags store). There's a chart that goes up to Student Athlete 50. May be higher elsewhere in the Response.

No, not the case.

You're correct. I just read that in the response ... that if a prospect gets money from one school, it doesn't prevent him from playing at another school.

Not sure why people don't understand this.

Can Rosebowl get some shirseys made up that have the #39 on them, "Lewis" on the back, and a "Rosebowl was Right" patch on the sleeve?

Isn't tweeting a recruit an NCAA violation, especially if that person is affiliated with a university? If they are seriously using Leo's tweet as
"evidence," he should present all of the tweets from Ole Miss fans.
