Actually today is THE DAY, since it's D-Day, but is it the other day as well?

We gonna get a dirty laundry bomb today?

I hope so, but wouldn't that be a giant punch in the nuts. "Mississippi State advances to super regionals in back to back years" "Ole Miss Releases Program Changing Amended NOA". Seems like all programs between the schools are headed in completely opposite directions. Great time on the MSU side of things. Loving it! BUT I think they wait until end of week as others have stated.

They have avoided and misdirected and lied since day one...I don't see that changing. I would love to be wrong though.

i think it is. According to Brad Garrett writer for OM and some grumblings from some other message board heros, it does seem like today we'll get something.

Now what that something is could be another thing. Steve thinks the lawsuit filed for John Doe will delay the unredacted NOA release until after the hearing of the ethics commission.

ETA: meaning mid July on the actual unredacted version.

Personally, the longer they draw it out the better.

Was there ANOTHER lawsuit filed for John Doe, OM Booster? The suit filed in Hinds County was filed on June 23, 2017 and withdrawn on June 26, 2017.

MS Ethics Commission hearing scheduled for June 27, 2017. Just wonder if the hearing is open to the public?

Also- I believe John Doe retracted his request if I read the ethics commission report yesterday ( may have been a different article)

I still think they may try to pull some sort of legal end run. It will be at the last possible minute as well. That way even if it eventually doesn't work it still delays things. I think they must take their clues from insurance claims departments. Even when they know they are going to have to pay eventually they still delay things just to delay them.

No. Since he also filed a Motion to Intervene with the Ethics Commission, he was required to withdraw his petition from Chancery Court in order to attempt to receive relief from the Ethics Commission. It is interesting to note that UNM attorneys actually stated to the Ethics Board that he withdrew because his petition was denied by the judge.

That's not a true blanket statement at all. I have dealt with both sides of insurance claims process and it is honestly much much more likely that delays occurr from the claimants side. In fact I know multiple plaintiff attorney's who deliberately will not settle a claim and wait to file a lawsuit until the statute of limitations nearly run out. Even when the carrier is attempting to honestly settle. There is more than enough to complain about in the insurance industry, but I see delays (purposeful delays for that matter) the vast majority of the time come from the plaintiff side strickly to play up that stereotype. It's just a game to many of these attorneys and over half the time in arbitration the claimant didn't come out any better by waiting and many times come away with 50% less if they would have settled years prior. Then they have to pay attorney fees on top of that.

Im talking about routine stuff that never makes it to court. Stuff like a company says it doesn't have a providers NPI #. Never mind that they paid a claim the day before and the day after for the same provider using the # they say they don't have. They know they will eventually have to pay it, they just delay for the sake of delaying. It happens all the time.

I gotcha. And the process for types of insurance does play into that. Depending on what line of insurance you are dealing with you have timelines in most states that they have to adhere to but their are issues within the industry. Some carriers are much better in the handling process, some are just disorganized or the personnel are overloaded (a lot of untrained or lightly trained new claims handlers out there) and some carriers are just slow purposefully. Some are slow by process default. Certain syndicates at Lloyds are slow but it's a process situation that has to occurr with international and in country third party administration.
