This was CREATED while Freeze was at OM the 1st time. It was ORIGINALLY CREATED to benefit ADULTS who ALREADY had college hours but not a degree. Many of these people being "older" and JUST need a degree for a job promotion..

Give you a paraphrase from several COI cases I have read this past year - 'The School/Coach/Administration said they did not.....The COI did not believe them". It's an interesting article, but if UNC skates there will be an even greater outcry than if UNM gets let off easy.

I don't think NCAA is going to buy their reasoning.

1. If the coaches knew it was going on then they are guilty even if they did not push athlete into the class. I just don't think the NCAA is going to say it was OK to turn a blind eye. Those coaches knew they were letting athletes on the field who should not have be there.

2. Athletes took the class to stayed eligible. So in reality they had ineligible athletes on the field. The will not skate on that.

Impossible! I've been told many times that member institutions of the NCAA and SEC don't wish ill will upon fellow members!! These programs are run as businesses and are totally cutthroat. If you can eliminate your competition then you do. With no mercy. I think you and I are on the same page on this and we both see how this is going to end for tsun.
