Was anybody else surprised to find out Rooker was our 1st ever SEC player of the year?? I wouldve guessed we had more considering our history and all the guys in the pros

Tony Kemp won it over Renfroe in 2013. That is a joke. Kemp has 3 AB's for the Astros this year

It surprised me. I'll be honest. Since 1993 we've done a better job producing elite pitchers than hitters in general though.

Not many people know this, but LSU actually has a fantastic baseball program.

All I know about LSU baseball is that Baylor's women's basketball coach is the starting SS's mom.

No wonder he is a good hitter. I have never heard of a parent actually playing wiffle ball with their kids.
