Sorry to start another OT thread, but this weekend I'll be in Biloxi for a couple of days with some friends. I'm from North Mississippi and haven't been to the Mississippi coast in a while. We are all in our mid twenties. I'm sure we will do a casino one night and I've read good things about Ocean Springs. Any recommendations on restaurants, bars, or other things to do? Thanks in advance.

Ocean Springs is a good time. Leo's has a band as does Government Street Grocery. Both have good food. If you get to that street (Government) you'll be at the center of the action. Mosaic has a patio and a beer bar in the same area. Call an Uber! Might want to check the calendar for these places to see what's going on. I've picked up people at 8:30 p.m. who say they're bored, but I imagine it starts happening later in the evening.

Boots and Spurs seems to be popular as well.

Chef Scott's in Ocean Springs has incredible sushi. BR Prime in Beau Rivage is a great steakhouse. Half Shell in Hard Rock has great sushi, oysters, and steak. Can't go wrong with any though

You're pretty solidly in bachelorette party season, so a group of guys in their mid twenties might want to do the Beau both nights.

I personally prefer IP because the casino is split into several different areas and rooms, which makes it seem more varied. But yeah, single guys probably find slightly better hunting at the Beau.

For walking around to different bars and music, it's either Government Street in Ocean Springs or downtown Gulfport. You'd probably like OS better as it's more intense with Government Street Grocery and that pizza place nearby. If you want exotic entertainment, go about 70 miles west of The Horseshoe.

heh, something we agree on.

start there, offer to uber a group to Ocean Springs to go to real bars.

poker is better at the IP, if ya'll are into that.

anything with a DJ will reveal the absolute worst the coast has to offer. but that might be what you're looking for.

avoid downtown Gulfport.

downtown Bay St Louis is nice, but it's more of a locals thing.

Steve's Marina was very good last time I was down.

try the hollywood casino and the filling station in biloxi. Both places are where you youngsters hang out.
