I woke up Saturday morning and we were 17-8 in the sec. We were a lock to host. We were a projected national seed. Our rpi was low teens.

Fast forward 1 week...

We're 17-13 in the sec. We needed a big comeback to beat Troy. Anything short of winning sec tourney and we aren't hosting. Our rpi will be in the 30s.

We have crapped the bed in style

Yep and if we lose Tuesday to UGA we will be a high three seed. We have thudded in style.

No we won't. Conference tournaments mean very little in baseball, and a single neutral site loss to the 84 RPI team in our 57th game is barely going to nudge our RPI.

Look, we gotta just look at it this way....making a Regional is a good accomplishment for this team, anything else is icing on the cake. Now Andy needs to recruit his ass off and get us a lineup and rotation like the one he built on the other side of the diamond tonight. I'm done complaining about it, now I just hope our scrappers will leave it all on the field and play loose and maybe upset someone. If we're going to do this, let's do it...put us in the Louisville Regional and let McKay & Rooker battle it out for the Golden Spikes. Eff it

Threads like this are stupid. Period. We aren't a good team. We have never been a good team. Call me out I don't care. We have zero business being IN a regional w the team we have. You can't crap in the bed when you didn't have a bed to start with. Half our "bed" was on the not able to preform list. Wth you expect. Seriously. Lsu has way more talent. Move on.

Those 2 Georgia losses are what sunk our rpi. Should we refuse a regional? We'll be invited, so someone thinks we belong

We had a lot of bad attrition, some good attrition and a way too many injuries. You can continue to try, but you can't get around what's happened from the '16 to '17 clubs.

1st and last series, we got swept. Between those 2 series though, we were 17-7. You don't go on a run like that without some talent. We're gonna be in regional bc we deserve to be. We aren't gonna host though bc we don't deserve to.

LSU is way more healthy and has more seniors who were drafted back on their team.

If Cann gets our job in June, LSU doesn't have any of those players who came back. Manieri isn't well liked by the players.
