I mean as good as he was last year, he has ZERO plate discipline and swings at everything. Why would another pitcher give him anything over the plate? Yes he still contributes in a big way but he has to start taking pitches and swinging at better pitches to be a complete player and set the table.

He might come back. He has two years left and an extra year if bargaining power, but this thread is the absolute wrong reason he will be back. His lack of power and not being s legit runner will keep him form ever being a great draft. Great being top 3 rounds.

Seems he has the speed. Developing that into a steal tool along with more discipline could really help his draft stock

I assume he means base stealer. Jake is 10 of 17 stealing... very poor for his speed
