Just saw him in Memphis and he was still amazing. One of the best concerts I have ever been to was Soundgarden. It was in Nashville and they melted faces. He had one of the best voices in Rock. RIP.

Man that sucks. Soundgarden was the most underrated band in the whole "Seattle Grunge" scene back in the 90's. He was very talented.

Vedder, you're on the clock.
Crazy to think the lead guys from Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, STP, & Nirvana are all dead.

The acoustic of "Doesn't Remnd Me". My fave. Dial it up on YouTube.

Chris Cornell's solo album released last year I think was fantastic. Mostly acoustic with him singing but still amazing. Between Soundgarden and Audioslave, there is a lot of my favorite songs. They are now saying they think it might have been suicide.

Death ruled a suicide. Damn.

Eddie Vedder and Dave Grohl are about the only one's left from that era.

Lots of suicides and OD's from the grunge scene. My generation of rock is pretty much dead.

I've seen the Foo's 3 times. Dave is one of of the coolest 'rock star' type guys out there. I really hope he sticks around for a long long time.

I've seen Foo Fighters three times and Eddie Vedder once solo and once with Pearl Jam. I passed on going to Memphis in May to see Soundgarden because I figured they'd be back eventually, and I already had Tom Petty tickets for that Monday night also. That was a mistake.

That would have been one heck of a weekend. I was at the Tom Petty show and it by itself was amazing. They didn't play anywhere near long enough. To add Soundgarden to that would have taken the weekend over the top.

David Carradine style?

My first thought when I heard Cornell was dead.
