Yeah, you damn near nailed this move. I like it. I think Cann wants a leadoff that isn't so eager to swing at every pitch, but hates to try and teach a .330+ hitter to become somebody he clearly isnt.

That being said, It'll be interesting to see if this change continues for the LSU series

Well, we went to Troy last year before we played Arkansas on a Thursday. Ole Miss and Arkansas State have a connection because of the Kessinger family so they're probably more willing to throw them a bone.
