Auburn seems to be the biggest threat but I like our chances.

So I know they're both takes, but operating under the likelihood that we won't be able to ultimately get both in the class, do we know which of Bohanon/Mayden our coaches would prefer if they could only have one? Or are they truly equal?

I really think it's equal. Mayden has that cerebral field general mindset that Mullen loves but Bohanon has probably more athleticism than any other QB than Mullen has signed here including Fitz. I think it's a much better chance to get both than I thought a week ago.

Yes he is taller but Mayden is the same height as Dak. Also same height as Jalen Hurts who Mullen really loved. That's who Mayden reminds me of. I think he's Hurts 2.0.

I felt that way too but I'm hearing it's a very real possibility. What I'm happy about is we will have at least 1 4* QB on our commit list in the next week.

Yep, our program is in the process of taking the next step. You saw it with Baylor, too, though theirs happened faster. They were improving under Briles, but it wasn't until RGIII took over college football and got so much publicity for the school and paved the way that you saw them able to start recruiting at a higher level more consistently.

Dak is doing the same for us, and all the positive publicity we've received, in addition to him showing you could come to State and do that, in addition to our sustained success and Fitz showing out right after him, is having an obvious impact. The toughest position to recruit, especially for programs without a great reputation, is QB. And we are now recruiting QB extremely well all the sudden.
