McQuary and Gordon were the key to the weekend

This team is special because it is always somebody different stepping up. McQuary and Cole Gordon won game 2. But just as important, they ate all 9 innings (after we burned several pitchers in game 1) in order to allow us to have fresh arms for game 3. The flexibility they gave Henderson and Cann for game 3 was crucial. They get my game ball for the series. Those 2 guys played a crucial role in BOTH wins.

Gotta give Belmont in game two a big shout out, also Lovelady, Poole and of course the pitchers along with Henderson for game three!

Who would have thought we would have won that game with our top three hitters going 0 for 16 with one weak fly out to right?
