Now let's get this draft and make a run this year...

Pick 11 -- taco Charlton/Derek Barnett

Pick 32 -- jabrill peppers/Reuben foster (if there)

Pick 42 -- Kevin king/adoree Jackson/chidobe awurie... best available CB/trade for butler

Wow. Like with Romo and Kap, looks like the FA market was not very hot for AD.

I'm glad that this likely ends the rumors of Christian McCaffrey to Saints. Way too high to pick that kid and Saints need defense.

Really need to trade Malcolm Butler for the 32nd pick (42nd would be better, but Belicheck)

Draft Barnett 11

Wise man say don't get excited about old RBs in the NFL

Peppers is straight trash IMO. I don't get the hype.

He's a tweeter. He doesn't have a true position. He's either Ed Reed or a complete bust, and I don't think he's Ed Reed.

If we somehow snag Foster with that late picks I'd be pumped. I'd even consider giving up a later pick to move up to get him.

Got em cheap... he has potential. As recently as '15 he had a good season. Ingram is the starter, so I think it's a great low risk, high reward signing

I think Foster would be a game changer. Still don't think he's there at 32 regardless of his off field stuff.

I doubt it too, but there's buzz he will be

Both peppers and foster are members of the left-handed cigarette club.....

I'd say probably half the NFL is a member. Most are smart enough to lay off long enough to not let it become a problem though

I like this as an affordable risk - big reward type of situation. AP for 1st & 2nd down with Ingram for 2nd & 3rd down. Who knows, might just catch lightening in a bottle.

Bill Polian stated on SC this morning when asked about players who fail a drug test in the combines or their Pro day; not one has panned out.

I'm still waiting for the Earl Campbell trade to pay off.

Wise man say don't get excited about Saints in the first place.
