I'd go if I was invited. Probably buy them a nice cup or something off the registry.

I'm just glad it's over so our media doesn't talk about it the whole week and maybe they can actually talk about sports now.

Get a picture of the Groom next year, I bet he looks a lot less "happy". No sex, constant bitching, working his ass off, she is always pissed about something, she is spending every dime he makes, she wants kids( because that will help the Marriage) , in laws are up your ass.
Cheers! Here is to a lifetime of happiness!

Damn must be a lot of bachelors on this post. Take this from somebody who is 3 days older than dirt, if she says something just say okay, saves a lot of trouble. I am a 2 time loser working on the the third heartbreak! Hell my first divorce, she left the animals with me, the cat ran off and the dog died!

Just because that has been your experience does not mean it is the fate of every couple that gets married.

50% Divorce rate in the country.

Actually Drugdog, that's a misleading statistic, because multiple marriages are used in this calculation. If you look at 1st marriages only the divorce rate is a lot lower.

Maybe it's just me but when I was growing up I knew a lot of my classmates had parents that were divorced. Now it seems less than it used to be in the past. It may be perception though.

If the data I just looked at is correct the rate is 41% divorce rate for the first marriage 60% for the second marriage and 73% for the third.

Not every couple. Just most of them. DON'T DO IT!!!

Actually, marriage is a fine institution.

If you like institutions.

Why does a woman smile walking down the aisle?

She knows she's given her last blowjob to the guy upfront.

To spoil the fun they're having with you ... Gridley's not getting married. His sister is (or was, last night I suppose). The only reason it was mentioned is that Gridley was going to have to miss a game to attend the wedding, but Saturday night's game was moved to Friday as half of a double header because of weather. A lot of people were giving Gridley a hard time for missing a game for the wedding, others were supporting him. I never opined, but if he'd stayed and played, his sister would never have let him hear the end of it, deservedly. He was going ... it was a no-brainer.

Kind of like that food that's scientifically proven to kill a woman's sex drive by 99%...wedding cake.
