Anybody throw Daiwa baitcasters?

More specifically a reel with the T-Wing system? I'm pretty dang close to pulling the trigger but I'm wondering if I'm getting "reeled in" with marketing.

I used one regularly in high school, so 10-14 years ago. I still use it when I go home and fish with my dad. Can't remember any specifics about it though.
