Remember he's also the guy who committed to Auburn out of HS and got a huge AU tatoo and then ended up flipping to Bama. Sounds like a perfect pick for the Raiders

The best kept secrets and lockdown info in college sports is Alabama Football players.
Saban is for sure the greatest at that. Everyone sees what gets out about these guys once they aren't under the Bama and Saban umbrella.

This. Bama has just as many lawbreakers on the team as anyone in America. Last summer type events with Tuscaloosa players is a norm there.

And they have their fair share of busts too. Had a ton of really really good ones, but they've had some that bust hard.

You can afford to have a 5 star bust when you get 5 or so every recruiting cycle.

The important thing was he wasn't chewing gum in line. You don't do that unless you have enough for everyone.

That's a different level of criminal. However, Bama has/had more criminal acts than Baylor has/had football rapist.

@AdamSchefter: RT @mlombardiNFL: Teams picking between 33-45 will need to make sure they are comfortable with R. Foster, cause he will be there.

...

If the saints are thinking of a draft night trade of pick #42 to pats for butler and foster is expected to be there at 42, I'd draft CB at #32 and get foster at #42 instead

He admitted to "multiple failed drug tests" while at Bama and a misdemeanor gun charge. Was that stuff made public previously? And was he suspended while at Bama. I always thought of saban as a disciplinarian.

A friend works the combine every year. He says the reputation among MDs at combine is that most Bama players show up really banged up. Saban runs very physical camps and he says these kids shoulders will be "shot" often times.

Makes sense. Bama is extremely physical.

That state wide radio show also said that yesterday.
