Holder gets 1 out but lets 2 on base so Chapman comes in and closes it out. Holder still has a 0.00 era on the year though thanks to Chapman.

Dam this is 2nd game in a row where he is pulled. He is giving up some hits but no runs yet.

When it becomes a save opportunity for Chapman they will always pull Holder and give the $60 million dollar man the ball. Chapman hasn't allowed a baserunner all year.

Because of arbitration, there is no way they will let Holder close games. Getting labeled as a "closer" bumps up your pay if you go through arbitration.

Holder will have a hard time to ever be a closer. Doesn't throw hard enough and doesn't have enough movement to be a shut down guy. He can have a successful career in the pen though. And I know it's early.
