not if all the players they're targeting are super secret double agent commits for other teams***

Yes, if 4-5 star types or specialists. Otherwise, it Ain't Good.

I'm not a big fan of commits at this point unless it's someone like Malik Heath or a Juco player that we placed.

A solid staff that's worked hard, built relationships through the years with prospects and sold their program aught to start seeing the fruits of their labors by now, with a good 6-8 firm commits for the '18 class and more to come over the summer months.

I wonder how many P5 teams don't have any?

Baseball has been recruiting younger players for years and I just don't think it's that big of a deal. If a player wants to commit and we're willing to take them I don't see why we wouldn't take their commit like anyone else.

It seems like the issue most people have is that most of our fans feel like whenever we get a commit that's not a senior that they're automatically going to de-commit at some point. To me, that's not really any different than someone de-committing their senior year.

Getting a commit this early for the 18 class is kinda like your GF asking can she suck your dick. You don't turn it down even if you really just want to sit on the couch and eat fried chicken like a fat ass instead.

Never ever try to make an analogy again.***

Getting a blow job or eating fried chicken on your couch?? Burning calories while receiving or clogging arteries while eating...hmmm?

Baseball is recruiting 8th and 9th graders....if you are a baseball prospect and don't have a D1 offer by 10th grade you are looking small college or JUCO....

Did someone demolish half of their campus and cut down every tree in the grove? I could've sworn those were the two top reasons for signing all those great signing classes.** Or so Bucky Swaggart said.
