I read about Chef Ty Thames breading catfish in pork rinds so I tried it. LEGIT

Got a cold Heineken, listening to John Daly's album, and finishing some work on my kayak.

Whipped out the crock pot with 2 sirloin strips marinated with Tony's and lea & perrins. Chopped taters, onions, few carrots, kale, cabbage & parsley. Topped off with big assed pineapple slices and lots of pineapple juice.

My bird is in New Orleans this weekend, so I kept it simple for dinner tonight and made "aglio e olio", which is basically Italian for garlic and oil (also with a few dried chili flakes, chopped parsley, and a sprinkling of fresh parm); super simple recipe, and delicious when done right. I love recipes that celebrate simplicity like that.

Tonight, I'm gonna light up this cigar and sip on this bourbon. Since the boss isn't home, that means I can sleep late tomorrow :)

Done. Pretty happy with the job I did considering it was my first time doing anything like this. Fairly easy project but this makes my layout so much more cleaner.

Made a dinner out of Kozel Dark and some Trdelnik (basically just dough wrapped round a stick and grilled over hot coals - sugar sprinkled on top. Some fill the inside with whip cream or other)

Did the local Mexican watering hole. 2-4-1 margaritas and a taco salad. I don't think I've had tequila since December #RareForm

Marinated 2 new York strips in dark beer, teriyaki, and brown sugar. Cooked them on the grill on the opposite side of the burners. Just drinking Miller Lite, nothing fancy.
