WTH? Is he gonna let some of the season play out and then sign with a contender midseason?

Smart guy. With the type injuries he has had, why risk being maimed for life.

Agree. Get out while he can still function. Move on to the next chapter.

Supposedly he was offered the job Lynch just left at Fox and CBS was offering him. It was weird that neither Houston or Denver made an offer at all. Personally, I wouldn't want to keep playing and be like Peyton having someone tie your cleats because you can't. Most people don't think about it but the guy isn't even 40 years old so there is a lot of life left and I wouldn't want to wake up every day taking pain killers for 50 years.

Lol at the Texans.

I guess they are trading up for a QB now. Dumb move by them if Romo was willing to play for them but they wouldn't offer anything.

Lol at the Texans.

No, No - Osweiler had to go regardless. He was a epic failure there so the sooner they rid themselves of that deal, the better.

The patchwork QB situation they had two years ago played better than he did last year.

I'm glad for Romo that he's quitting. I said after his last injury he should walk away. The dude is Mr. Glass. He is going to end up paralyzed if he keeps playing.

He finally saw the writing on the wall. He now gets to survive without being permanently confined to a wheelchair and still be on TV.

Not even a full year ago Dak hadn't been drafted yet and now Dak made Romo retire. That is insane!
