McCowen still young and a project. Wilson allowed to play like a bull in a china shop, but a true AA. I think we were gassed physically as we did not get a charging call all night, everything was a blocking foul on us. VV needs to take better shots and be better on D. Watch her play. She is a good player but she is allowed to play like a thug. I've never seen anything like it.

Today was not Morgan's day and get ready for some backlash from the press and others outside the program to bash Schaefer for sitting her.

I think she just got on the bad side of Schaefer and was being punished, just like Vivians did toward the end of the year. Not sure why, unless it was not playing with energy tonight. But her gas gauge went to empty after Friday night. I wasn't really as excited for this game as I was the UConn game, so I can't really blame the players for not being totally up for it.

She has been at her best in the fourth quarter the last two games. Yet we didn't let her have a shot to tonight. Just stupid

I made that observation after the win friday night. Over the back not called and off player lunging into def players with NEVER an off charging could called. It started with Magic Johnson...take off at the the free throw line even though def player is set......automatic blocking called. Until college refs change ....and call over the back and charging the way it should to keep the game equal........college bball is ruined......

William got benched because their PG had her locked down. Vic didnt choke I dont blame him. We were gassed. They won bc they have our number and they didnt have to play UConn. Its not complicated

It was also one of those nights where almost anything thrown up by USCE went in and we pretty much had a lid on the basket most of the night.

I will make one criticism. I think our offensive gameplan lacked imagination. I believe Vic thought we were just gonna put it in the hands of VV and MW and let them win it. But they didn't have it tonight.

We had no inside game. None.

I don't question his decision at all. He knows the team and what he thought had to be done to give us the best chance to get back in it. Made a little run, but SC had more in the tank. We had no answer for Wilson.

She was also worn slap out. They showed a closeup of here waiting to come in once. She had just been sitting on the bench for several minutes and was breathing so heavily it looked like she needed a paper bag.

alabama avg'd 6.5 ypr against Clemson and 4.8 ypp, yet bama threw the ball 32 times (14-32). Saban is the best coach in CFB... if he can screw up, I assure Vic can too. I love Vic and couldn't be happier to have him as our coach, but I didn't like his game plan or in-game decisions tonight

True. No amount of 'good' coaching was going to get us by SC today. They were simply better. To borrow a phrase from another coach we all know.....we've got to recruit better. ;)
