I am interested to see if Fred can improve on his 40 and how everyone else does. Boobie is also going thru it. He is trying to get another shot after rehabbing his knee? this past year.

Unofficially, how slow was Richie in the 40?

I've seen from 4.64-4.66. Not slow at all. Richie at 6'2" 240lbs ran a 4.64 VJ 37" and had a Broad Jump of 9'8". He had a very good testing day.

I think he means the listed MSU heights & Combine/Pro Day heights. The difference is because the teams program heights are with shoes on & the Combine heights are with shoes off.

Justin Senior and Fred Ross were measured shorter at pro day than the combine

Maybe I missed it, but why didn't Bear Wilson participate in the pro day? Certainly didn't have anything to lose.

Also, how did Dixon do? Really hope somebody will give him a shot.

Side note, offensive linemen running the 40 is stupid.

they must be wearing platforms bc according to Steve, Nick James went from 6'5 on fall roster to 6'0.5 today, Kivon Coman from 6'3 to 5'11. I understand giving a couple inches but 4 & a half is surprising. I even thought we were a bit conservative with our roster since guys we sign often lose an inch from their 247.com listings to the actual roster.

40 yard pull? Heck no. Shuttle runs makes a lot more sense and are much more applicable. 10 and 20 yard splits in the 40 are a lot of times what scouts look at for OL.
